Free Photoshop CS2 & More from Adobe (Really? Perhaps?)

Update: Apparently they didn't mean it, really, though it's still available on the download page. See Adobe forum discussion (including posts on the wording "obtain" in the licensing), Adobe denies 'free' CS2 downloads are a giveaway and No, You Can't Download Adobe CS2 Applications For Free and on Gizmodo.

Original post: Adobe is offering older versions of various programs for free, including Photoshop CS2 and the cut-down version Photoshop Elements v5.0. I've long used the latter for resizing photos for websites and email, cropping photos and using auto-fix or levels to correct colors (it does all sorts of other, fancier things too).

On th Adobe free download page you'll find the system requirements for PC/Mac (includes machines running Windows XP), the download links, and the serial number you'll need to have when you install the program.

For tutorials and tips on using these programs, head over to About.com Graphics Software, where Guide Sue Chastain also has a Free Adobe Photoshop Basics Course by Email.

I saw on the Snapfiles-site the Photoshoplink. I downloaded it yet.
Now I see more programs. I want to download Illustrator and Indesign too. They are good programs.
About com is a very good site. It inspires me for a lot of creative work.
