A few things for arty weekend reading:
• If you're thinking of maybe doing some paintings this year to match the proverbial sofa, Pantone's Color for 2013 is Emerald Green. (Scroll down to the bottom of that page for previous years' colors.)
• Want a gentle light to photograph paintings, this will work for small to medium paintings as well as craft objects: DIY lights for photography.
• Dinotopia creator James Gurney shares some tips for titling artwork and everything that relates to a piece.
You can now browse works of Henry Moore online on the website of the Henry Moore Foundation which so far has added over 2,000 works from its collection of drawings, sculpture, graphics, tapestries, and textiles.
• To help protect its famous ceiling, the Sistine Chapel has plans to vacuum-clean tourists. Seriously!
