The O Word, or How Oil Paint "Dries"

The term "oxidation" may sound a bit scarily scientific, but whenever you cut up an apple and leave it for a bit and have it go all brown and horrible, that's oxidation. With oil paint it's not a process that turns your paint brown, but it does turn it hard. What we usually call "dry". Find out more about how oil paint dries here...
