I have enough to build a small condominium. I don’t know why other than I like them. I like touching them. I like the different textures. They are my friends, and I need them! hehe. I actively use about ten of them, but only one to five at a time on a painting, and I keep them for many years in good shape. I think I’m afraid of running out of brushes in this lifetime, but it may take me two to go through them. I love my brushes! I’m going to go pet them now. They miss me!

There’s something about a brand new, pristine brush, something tempting… all the potential. I was seduced by a long-hair filbert last time I was in an art supply store…!

For a moment I thought about counting them – it would take far too long. If I did count them would I include the less conventional items – toothbrushes, twigs – then what about my sponges and blending sticks??? Need to lie down now!!
