Love brayers!! Not only are they wonderful when working with printing inks, but I’ve found uses for for them in all sorts of other artistic applications, including doing what –in essence — is printmaking on clay using slips instead of inks.
I’ve been considering getting a brayer for a while now. The tipping point came when I tried to use my rolling pin as a brayer. It worked better than I expected, but not as well as I hoped.

And a handy tool I am, too!

The right tools can make all the difference. Thanks for the scoop!
I had seen these used before, but didn’t know what they were called. Now I can say “brayer” instead of “roller, squishy thing” – sounds much better!
Great tool. But it sure looks like a paint roller!

I gather the “lip” thingy at the top is a anti-splatter device?
