Did Pollock Hide a Signature?

Friday September 25, 2009
Did Jackson Pollock hide his signature amongst the paint strokes and squiggles in his Mural painting (now in the University of Iowa Museum of Art). According to an article on Art News, a forthcoming book about the relationship between Pollock and his teacher Thomas Hart Benton (Tom and Jack by Henry Adams) says he did. Or is it a case of wishful seeing? Take a look at this photo to judge for yourself. (The story accompanying the photo is worth reading too!)
