Today is Mandela Day (an official public holiday in South Africa), a day set aside as "the opportunity to do something good to help others."* As someone creative, you've plenty of options to "do something good".
It could be to give a painting (or a print of it) to someone you know has wanted it but been too shy to ask (or broke to buy it). It could be to donate time or materials to an arts-related charity. To actually put some money in the donations box at a local free museum. To persuade that friend who thinks they can't draw a straight line to forget about lines and just give painting a bash with you today (and sign them up to the painting newsletter). To give constructive criticisms to several people on the painting forum.
Big or small, it doesn't matter what it is. It's the doing that counts.
