It’s amazing, really…some things are still the same, while others are completely different. The headings in the newer book remind me of a web page, though. Makes me wonder if future generations will reject printed books because they don’t have video.
It’s wonderful that now a book on painting — a visual art if ever there was one — can now have illustrations all over the interior. And between Marion’s post and Nancy’s comment, I am left wondering if future generations (or indeed some of the most recent!) will never know that paragraphs used to be indented rather than spaced.
I love the to watch the flow of history….
My, my how things change! Progress is a funny thing. Sometimes, it’s nice to go back in time. But there are definite improvements to come in the future.
