W&N Acrylic Samples

Tuesday January 6, 2009
Winsor Newton Artists' Acrylics Updated Thurs 8th: Bad news I'm afraid if you're wanting a sample of the new Winsor & Newton Artists' Acrylics or to enter their competition. Some gremlins have got into the W&N website and scrambled things, so it's been taken offline while the techies work on solving the problem.

I’ve sent off for my free sample! Winsor & Newton are one of the best brands.

I hope they send you one! I was told the new paint is being launched everywhere this month except the US where it’ll be in a few months’ time (I don’t know why). It may also mean the old brand gets sold at a discount if shops try to clear stock; certainly worth keeping an eye out!

Marion,
No matter what link I click on, I get the same page saying “Coming Soon”
I guess that means for anyone in North America.?
Perhaps I’ll try another portal.
Sounds interesting, although I use Golden, Liquitex and Tri-Art paints which are excellent.
I always use W&N for their watercolours and gouache though.

I’ve just clicked on the link and I’m also seeing a “coming soon” holding page. Maybe they’ve been overloaded with requests and the website bandwidth exceeded? Or it could be that there was some design gremlin that’s happened, it being a brand-new micro site.

Good job I got in quickly, I had no problem, although you never know…
