Fabric Painting with Fabric Markers

Sunday December 14, 2008
Fabric markers While my written lettering isn't anything approaching calligraphy, with a fabric marker I can at least make it legible, unlike when I try to do small lettering with a brush. I've been doing some samples with different brands of fabric marker and my favorite is definitely Setaskrib from Pebeo (Buy Direct), as it has a lovely fine point but it's also easy to get a wider line and to "color in" areas.

Why have I been playing with testing fabric markers? I plan to use them in two projects I'm working on: an art quilt and a fabric book. But a marker pen isn't touching either until I'm confident with what I'm doing, as it can't be undone!
