November's Painting Project

Saturday November 1, 2008
Mixed media The aim of November's Painting Project is to move you out of your comfort zone by challenging you to create a painting with at least two mediums, one "wet" and the other "dry". Read the project instructions, then get painting! The deadline for submissions is 26 November 2008.

Recently I have been using watercolor crayons –Lyree– and wax/oil crayons –neocolor I– both can be made to be a wash by addition of water/turp… would those be kosher as the wet medium.. I could also use them as a color using a brush or dip them in the correct medium–water/turp

Yes, watercolor crayon that’s turned into paint (a wash) would count as “wet”. I’ve added this to the project instructions too.
