Painting Video: Same Location on Different Days

Painting the same landscape on different days, or several times on the same day as the light changes, produces quite different paintings. The subject is the same but the conditions change, and so the way you approach it can change. This painting video shows how worthwhile an exercise it is create a series, to work with the same landscape again and again. It shows a sequence of paintings with an explanation of the approach taken in each, such capturing as the brightness of the green, blocking in with negative values, or doing an underpainting in complementary colors.
