Discussion: Putting Art in a Bathroom

How would you feel if someone bought one of your paintings and then hung it in their bathroom (issues of what the heat and humidity might to do the painting aside)? On the Painting Forum Painter says: "Please don't take this wrong, but don't you feel that it's kind of 'degrading' to put an original work of art in a bathroom? I get upset when a gallery places me in a 'Corner'! Am I being overly sensitive?" Gerald says: "Works of art are placed any places the customer wants it. We only create art, they live with it."
