Painters Discuss Presents They'd Like to Receive

Plein Air Artist -- Presents for Artists What is the best present that a painter could be given? In a discussion on the Painting Forum suggestions have included gift vouches for favorite art stores, payment of dues for an art group, and buying a painting or two. Brian Rice says that for him the most precious gift is time alone: "Family members and friends should give an artist lots of time alone ... time to think, to work out all that's going on in their heads."
