International Botanical Painting Distance Course

Saturday February 25, 2006
If you're interested in developing skills as a botanical artist, you may want to check out the distance learning course offered by the UK Society of Botanical Artists. The course runs over 27 weeks and can be done from anywhere in the world. Note that it's not cheap nor suitable for total beginners. You must have some proficiency with watercolors and will have to provide samples of your work for assessment before you're accepted onto the course. If you're on a budget you could consider working through the course 'textbook' The Art of Botanical Painting and posting your work in the work on the Painting Forum for feedback. Find out more...
