Ever had one of those moments when you just hit a total blank when it comes to color mixing? Well, that's what happened to Irishclover2 who posted on the Painting forum saying: "I was painting the other day, and couldn't for the life of me mix brown! How crazy. Any help? I don't remember what I tried, but I know it didn't work. Color wheel didn't help, either."

The easiest 'rule' to remember is that to mix a brown you mix a primary with its complementary color, so purple and yellow; blue and orange; or red and green. Find out more...
