Art for the Visually Impaired

Saturday October 8, 2005
BlindArt is a UK charity that encourages "participation and interaction of the visually impaired in the sighted domain of the visual arts." BlindArt maintains a collection of multi-sensory artwork, which is fascinating to browse through. Have you ever given any thought as to how you might make art that "does not exclude the visually impaired and can be explored through touch and the other senses"? Well, start thinking so you could enter BlindArt's 2006 Sense and Sensuality Competition (closing date 10 January 2006; unfortunately UK residents only).
