An Online Art Gallery That Charges Commission Not Upfront Fees

Wednesday August 3, 2005
Many online art galleries charge setup and monthly fees, which means you put out money with the risk that you never sell anything. Boundless Gallery instead charges a 25 per cent commission on any paintings sold. I haven't looked at all Boundless's small print in detail, but it strikes me as a site worth investigating if you've been looking for somewhere to market your paintings. You can also sign up as available for commissions (custom work). Go to Boundless Gallery website...

Commission based sales is a win-win for both artist and gallery. It’s a nice alternative.

Looks like they charge yearly fees now. Oh well.
